INTRODUCTION
- Wanderly is your all-in-one travel planner, enhanced with AR features for immersive exploration. Plan trips, discover new destinations through augmented reality, and share your adventures with others. Travel smarter, explore deeper, and connect with vibrant community of fellow wanderers who share your passion for discovery.
DESIGN IMPLEMENTATION
- Due to the time constraints, we developed the core features of Wanderly, some of which are (1) create and customise trip itineraries, (2) AR navigation, and (3) share trip experience.
- Our interface focused on achieving a minimalistic and easy-to-use design, including branding elements that reflect the idea of travelling.
DISCUSSION
- Our app provides a distinctive feature that are different from an ordinary trip planner, it incorporated AR features, trip planning, and social media into one.
- One feature that I was pleased to witness was incorporating AR features into trip planners, considering users who has limited sense of direction, thereby enhancing the user experience.
